What a friend we have in Jesus
Who bears all our sins and griefs
Cast your burdens unto Jesus for he cares for you

Most often what we need is not a solution to our problems but a strong friend who will give us the courage and strength to go through it.

With Jesus we can live above our circumstances - any circumstance - even loneliness or dying.

The Lord Disciplines Those He Loves

It is only in my brokenness that I understand the depth of God's love for me.
It is only when I feel crushed that I understand the strength of God's hand on my life.
It is only when I feel helpless, I seek God and find him.
It is only when I have no where else to go, I learn to depend on him and see his glory.

 

Thank you God for afflicting me, correcting me, putting me through trials to bring me back to you.
Thank you God for sending your son Jesus to help me find my way back to you.
