Is He There?

Some Say: "God is not there because there is too much evil in this world"
I Say: "I need you God - There is so much evil around"

Some Say: "God is not there because there is no justice in this world"
I Say: "I need you God because this world is not just"

Some Say: "God is not there because there is no meaning to life"
I Say: "God, this life is temporary - please show me your eternal purpose for my temporary life"

Some Say: "If God is there, I would not be suffering"
I Say: "Oh God! nothing has got me so close to you like suffering"

Some Say: "God is not there because there is so much hunger and poverty"
I Say: "If God was not there, hunger and poverty would have ended civilization long time back"

Some Say: "If God was there, this world would have been a better place"
I Say: "If God was not there, this world would have self-destructed long back"

Oh God! Please Help...

Dear God,

I am unable to bear what I hear;
My heart goes weak and my mind goes faint when I read the news;
How could men have the heart to cause distress to women and children.

The very men who you created in your image - who are suppose to love and protect the weak - are harming and devastating them.
Oh! Jesus! Please stop this from happening!
How could I find you amist so much evil in this world!
How could I manage to hold on to faith when I hear such things.

Why would you let such things to happen?
We all share the same blood and same feelings.
How could I be peaceful when I see my sister or my daughter put through fire.
How could I go through my life like this?
Oh God! Please end this world -  like you had promised.

Please show me the light in this darkness?
Please give me hope in this hopeless world?
Please give me meaning that goes beyond suffering and life?
Please help me to see justice that is beyond death?
Who God Who have I beside you! There is none to go to!
Please help this generation.

God's Passionate About You

There is a place in God’s heart that only you can fill.

He will be restless till he finds you.
He will trouble you and afflict you till you stop ignoring Him.

Suffering does not mean that God has forsaken you.

Suffering means God is forcing you back to him.
He will not stop until you realize that that you can't keep having your way.

He does not mind temporarily afflicting you during your stay on this planet in order to establish a permanent relationship with you.
In the end, this planet and all its affairs will fade away;
But your relationship with God is what will count through all eternity.

What a Friend We Have in Jesus

What a friend we have in Jesus
Who bears all our sins and griefs
Cast your burdens unto Jesus for he cares for you

Most often what we need is not a solution to our problems but a strong friend who will give us the courage and strength to go through it.

With Jesus we can live above our circumstances - any circumstance - even loneliness or dying.

It is only in my brokenness that I understand the depth of God's love for me.
It is only when I feel crushed that I understand the strength of God's hand on my life.
It is only when I feel helpless, I seek God and find him.
It is only when I have no where else to go, I learn to depend on him and see his glory.

 

Thank you God for afflicting me, correcting me, putting me through trials to bring me back to you.
Thank you God for sending your son Jesus to help me find my way back to you.
